Black Friday Shopping Highlights

I have little interest in going out and standing in long lines to pick up a few deals on Black Friday. However we did pick up a few deals over the weekend mostly online:

$159 GE Front Loading Washer @ Home Depot (looks to be a significant price mistake). I caught this on slickdeals early Saturday morning and was able to complete purchase of only the washer online even though we are really in a market for a dryer. For this price though I'll take a new washer - fingers crossed this doesn't get canceled.

$25 credit from Amex for Small Business Saturday. There was no immediate need to for us to buy anything so instead we picked up a $25 gift card at a small business to earn our $25 credit.

$7.99 Call of Duty World At War (Xbox360) - I only splurge and pick up a game every once in a while if it really peaks my interest -- I simply don't have time to play, but every once in a blue moon spending a few minutes playing our xbox360 media extender is a good escape for me. So far I haven't spent more than $8 for any game for our xbox360.

$40 gift card to Newegg for $20 from Google Offers. Im thinking about upgrading the memory on our low cost media center and this basically allows me to get twice as much memory for the same price.

Come on, at least buy something from the small business!!! Part with your miser ways for a little while :)

PS - Piques.

Matt, No worries it was a gift card to that small business - we were just in a rush and didn't have time to shop on Saturday so we picked up a gift card to save some time.
