Investment Performance November 2011 (-0.39%)
This is an ongoing monthly update on how our equity investments are performing. Please see this background on the investment tool I developed and how I am using it to track our performance against a benchmark to measure our progress or lack thereof.
November Highlights:
- After a strong market climb in October, November gave some back, but less than I would have expected. We posted a -0.39% decline in our portfolio compared to our VTI benchmark decline of -0.37%.
- In early November we picked up some additional Bank of America shares to add to our position.
- We also made our regular monthly investments in our Roth IRAs and Conocco Philips DRIP, and had some dividends and dividend reinvestments.
