Headed Back To The US A Few Months Early
A couple weeks ago my employer offered me an engineering management position back home in Raleigh, NC that lined up nicely with my career goals and after talking with my wife decided the time was right to take it. The job is something new for me and provides a much needed change in my day to day activities and (hopefully) stress levels.
As a result we are headed back to the US about 2 months early. Its a shock to realize we are actually headed back to the US. We have gotten very comfortable living here in China and despite all the changes really enjoy the adventure living in some place that is so foreign to us.
Posting will be lighter than normal over the next several weeks as we wrap things up here and take a long awaited trip to Sydney before we head back to the US.
