Very scary map indeed 2million! Makes me sad but also thankful that I'm employed, at least for now. As a cancer researcher, a lot of my research grant money comes from private organizations like the American Cancer Society, which have taken a huge hit in this recession. Private donors have lost money and seem to be contributing less. One of my grants didn't get funded, and I think because of the hit on research dollars.
