May 2007 Net Worth Update (+$18,615)
This month's net worth gain is $74 shy of my record set in my August 2006 net worth update. Regardless, its great to see such strength in my monthly gains -- a larger and larger portion due to paper investment gains.

Highlights for May
- All credit card debt (except current month's purchases) is in the form of 0% APR balance transfers earning interest in my savings accounts.
- I took advantage of a group universal life insurance offer from my employer that didn't require any health questions.
- I got hit with a $5.95 fee from Wachovia for downloading with MS Money. I also contacted Wachovia about preventing the fee in the future.
- My 401(k) accounts are growing much faster than my cash. I also compared the 401(k) to all my taxable accounts.
- On a recent business trip to China I tested several methods for acquiring cash in China
- Life is crazy busy for me and I am trying to scratch off some major activities before my China assignment.
Additional Stock Investments May (Outside of 401k & ESPP):
- $25 in ConocoPhillips DRIP
- $100 in USG DRIP
- $250 in Vanguard Roth IRA
- $50 in Pfizer DRIP

2million, I was wondering- with the 0% APR credit card balance transfers- how long after you pay off the balances and restore your balance/credit limit ratio does it take for your credit scores to normalize?

18K! What's your secret? Credit card interest is only a fraction of that :)

This month was primarily driven by the stock market. IBM stock jumped and added ~$4-5k to my gains.
Heck I averaged about a 3%+ return (for just the month of May along) in my Roth IRA, brokerage accounts, and stock retirement accts. That helped big time.

You are doing great. It is always nice to watch your networth going up each month. I will be rooting for you. I am also working hard to improve myself financially. I have set a goal to pay off $72,900 worth of debt by April 2009. You are a great inspiration. =)
